GNS strives to bring the same data analytics approach we have used at large companies to get results for small businesses
HISTORY
Founders Drew Smith and Michael Gerini met while working for the same logistics company and working on data-intensive problem solving projects. They realized their skills balanced between data analytics and business acumen. They decided that they could partner and extend these skills to small businesses. Together, they figured if large companies invest heavily in data, why not bring that energy to small businesses and help them achieve results through analytics? That is the goal of GNS Analytics: to give small businesses the same access to data analytics insights that the Fortune 500 has.

WHAT PROCESS DOES GNS USE?
GNS uses commonly accepted data analytics frameworks of Cross-Industry Standard Process for Data Mining (CRISP-DM) and Analytics Solutions Unified Method for Data Mining/Predictive Analytics (ASUM). These are used by analytics professionals and considered to be the gold standard of analytics frameworks.

WHY IS THE NAME GNS?
GNS comes from the combination of the founders' last names, Gerini and Smith, and using "N" for "and".
Michael Gerini
An experienced Data Scientist, Michael is an expert at leveraging his coding and statistical knowledge to create real world changes. Originally from the Northeast he came to Atlanta to join the Data Science team of a Fortune 50 company.

Drew Smith
Founder
US Navy Veteran
Originally from California, Drew came to Georgia after 8 years of active duty service as a US Navy officer. He then transitioned to the US Navy Reserves and civilian life. He has lived in four countries and has worked on multiple projects that span from product management to client data services. He is currently a Senior Analyst at a Fortune 100.
